something for the weekend [Jun. 11th, 2008|11:24 am]
thesubculture

viciouscabaret

This month we have Lahannya playing live before Transmission!

Only £3 on the door which includes free entry to Transmission (in other words it's effectively FREE ENTRY if you're coming to Transmission anyway!)

Lahannya - the voice of industrial club act Soman has joined forces with Lutz (Umbra et Imago), Belle (Killing Miranda) and Chris Milden (NFD) to create a mixture of dark alternative rock and metal flirting with electro. Comparisons have been made with Garbage, Lacuna Coil and Birthday Massacre, however Lahannya are very much their own band.

Transmission last night was rather good, even if it was midnight when I finally got there. Geat music, loads of people, and a great atmosphere. Long may it continue!

Meanwhile, for anyone with a post-Transmission overhang, or for that matter anyone who fancies a bit of "All shades of Goth, past and present", anyone fancy Black Sheep tonight? Go on, wool of the sheep that bit you and all that.. :-)
